23 sailors, MV Abdullah released by Somali pirates

The 23 crew members of MV Abdullah, who were captured by Somali pirates in the Indian Ocean, have been released after a month. Mizanul Islam, media adviser of Kabir Group, the owner of the ship, confirmed the matter on Sunday morning. Mizanul Islam said that all the sailors including the ship were released from hostage around 3am on Sunday. The ship MV Abdullah is now on its way to Dubai. More details will be revealed at a press conference at KSRM's Agrabad corporate office later in the day. On March 4, the ship started its journey from the port of Maputo in the African country of Mozambique. It was scheduled to arrive at Hamriyah port in the United Arab Emirates on March 19. The ship fell into the hands of pirates in the Indian Ocean at around 1:30pm on March 12. Among the total 24 ships under this company, MV Abdullah is the latest addition.
