Classes to resume in secondary schools, colleges from Sunday

The Ministry of Education has decided to reopen secondary schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions from Sunday. The Secondary and Higher Education Division of the ministry issued a notification on Thursday to this end. It said daily assemblies will remain suspended until the heat wave becomes tolerable. Academic activities will be held on every Saturday until further notice to make up the loss of lessons caused by the closure of the institutions due to heatwave and other reasons. Academic activities that are performed outside of classrooms will remain limited.
