Users facing difficulty accessing 40,000 websites

Users are facing difficulty accessing about 40,000 government and private websites due to technical glitches at the domain of Bangladesh Telecommunications Company Limited (BTCL) dot bd (.bd). Work is underway to resolve the problem, BTCL said in a circular on Wednesday (April 3). The dot bd domain service has been down since 8:40am on Wednesday (April 3) due to a technical error. However, the dot bangla domain service has remained unaffected. BTCL said that the technical team is working on the issue and that the service will be available soon. Meanwhile, BTCL authorities expressed sincere regret for the temporary inconvenience caused to customers due to the disruption.
