Gold prices slashed 5 times in a row

Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has revised the prices of gold for the fifth consecutive time as the cost of pure gold falls on the local market. It cut the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 315 per bhori (11.664g). This means each carat of top-quality gold will now cost Tk 112,616, BAJUS said in a statement. The new revised prices will be effective at 4pm today (April 28). It will remain in effect until further notice. (This is a developing story. We’ll update it as soon as we get more information)
